Potsdam is just a quick 38-minute train ride from the Berlin central
train station on the S-Bahn. But even in that short distance,
the difference between the two cities could hardly be greater.
In contrast to the constantly reinvented metropolis that is Berlin,
Potsdam is a completely historic location with famous parks
and castles â for example, Sans-Souci Palace, the New Palace or
the Orangery Palace. But in addition, the city is also young and
innovative: 15% of its inhabitants are students and international
blockbusters are filmed in the Babelsberg film studio.
